Insect Trail 2023
Did you take part in our Insect Trail at the Blenheim Palace Flower Show 2023?
As you walked around the show, you may have noticed a range of large scale insects made from natural materials and flowers, designed and created by florists, flower arrangers, students and artists.
All inspired by insects, the designs featured a Leaf Katydid, Hummingbird Clearwing Moth, Bombus Lucorum (white tailed Bumblebee), Dragonfly, Fantastical Dragonflies and a Praying Mantis.
And the best part is, our visitors got to vote for their favourite!
Voting took place on Facebook from Friday 23rd June until 3pm on Sunday 25th June 2023. The design with the most ‘likes’ on our Insect Trail post received a People’s Choice Award at the Blenheim Palace Flower Show 2023.
And the winner was….the Bombus Lucorum! If you weren’t able to join us at the show, you can see some of the stunning designs below:
